Brand new Zno Instant Software for PhotographersLet me tell you about the new software that is changing my life! Photography is always evolving and so are the demands for when and where people get their images. The days of shooting photos and going home, editing, and delivering images in weeks may soon be in the past! A few days ago I got the opportunity to try out the new software from Zno, Zno Instant, and it's amazing. It gives me the ability to upload images to a gallery as I am shooting them. Now I can instantly share images while I am at the event. All within seconds of taking the photos. Zno Instant also has the option to turn on Ai (artificial intelligence) editing so that my images are edited and finalized before the clients see them.
How does it work? through the magic of the internet, and the Zno Instant app. All you need is a cell phone, an OTG cable to connect your camera to the phone, and your camera. If you were at Imaging USA and you signed up there, they were giving away the bracket to mount your phone to the camera and the cable for free!
The first step you need to do is download the app. The app is free, you just find it in your App Store. From there you mount your phone to the camera with the bracket, and when you turn on the camera, the app automatically opens up. The next step is to start shooting your photos and they automatically start uploading to a gallery, which in Zno instant is called a "Roll". The Roll holds an unlimited amount of photos and holds them until you delete them. Each Roll is essentially a gallery. I use one Roll per event so that I can keep my events separate.
Each Roll also has its own QR code, that is generated when you purchase a Roll, so I can give the QR code to my Bride weeks before the wedding, so then she can print the QR code in the invitation, or place it in the centerpieces, so that the guests can see the images the day of the wedding as we are taking them.
There are a lot of options to customize the gallery before hand.
You also have the option of automatically adding a watermark to your photos as they upload, as well as turning on the option for Ai retouch! Zno Instant does have built in presets for retouch, but if you are using the Zno Retoucher, you can create a preset on there and that can be imported into Zno Instant and used on your images. The watermark does have to be uploaded before hand, but you can upload a PNG file with your name or logo, or anything you would like.

On the Client end, this is what the gallery would look like on a cell phone:
So how have I been using this? Mainly for marketing. I have been to many weddings before where people will come up to me and say things like " you're doing a great job", so they see how I work and run around, but they haven't seen any images. It would be hard before to be at the wedding and be able to share images from my camera because they had to be edited. Now with Zno Instant, I can turn on my automatic uploads and share the images as I shoot them. At the beginning of the event, I am a bit more selective, so I have my Zno Instant on "manual upload" where I can manually select the images I will be uploading. Usually 2-3 images from the getting ready and 2-3 images from the ceremony, but when I'm walking around the reception getting photos with the grandma and the aunts/uncles, those are the images the guests care about. They can instantly see the great quality and can make the connection between the great photos and the hard work. Making the photos even more impressive. This has in turn helped me book weddings while I am at event. All without paying for extra marketing, or handing out business cards. The images market themselves! I've even been told there's a lot more developments coming down the pipe. For example you'll be able to push photos to Zno's online photo gallery called Zno Gallery, paywall images or even connect to Zno's print store!
