This shoot was different than my ordinary shoots. On a regular basis, I work with the general public. People that are just regular people. Though Mia is a regular person herself, she also happens to be a photographer. This made my job a little harder. Photographers know about angles and image sharpness, color....so it can be a bit more stressful when it comes to fresh ideas and unique shots. One of the curses of being a photographer is always picking a picture apart. While an untrained eye looks at what catches their attention, usually facial expressions  when it comes to portraits, a photographer will scan the picture to make sure its in focus, analyze the color, and maybe even check to composition. Then you think of ways you can improve it haha. Yeah. At times, all that goes through my mind. I can see why a photographer would be picky with who can photograph them. Looking at these pictures though, I'm glad Mia trusted me with capturing such a special moment for her and her daughter.
